Finding Backlinks And Making Them Stick
In last weeks blog post I spoke about backlinks and how they are important for ranking your targeted keywords in the SERPS. After reading that blog post you were probably thinking how do I find these places to put my anchor text a.k.a backlinks? Well, it can be difficult finding places that will allow you to place your links. But there are a few tricks that im going to talk to you about to help you find some of these places. The best way to find places to put your links is to find blogs that relate to your website's content. For instance, if your website is based on Health and Fitness you should find blogs that the main topics are health and fitness. Once you find these blogs, its important that you read over the topic carefully and make a contributing post with your anchor text being the keyword your targeting. By doing this you will almost ensure that your post will not be deleted by the admin.

Name : 4g Mobile Phones <---- Your anchor text
Email : happy@gmail.com <----- Doesn’t matter the email
Website : http://www.hippocraticsolutions.com <----- backlink to your website
Comment : A well thought out post contributing to the discussion of the blog.
Side Tip : Its important that you are only posting on websites that are relevant to your websites content. The SERPS will punish your keyword / website rankings if they see you have an abundant amount of links on off-topic websites.
Finding these blogs is pretty easy actually. When I first started blog commenting for backlinks, I would simple use Google to find blogs. For instance go to Google and type “Health & Fitness” blogs, you can find lists of blogs based on traffic rankings. There are also a lot of good tools out on the market to help you find blogs, I will touch on these in a later seo blog entry. Another good way to get a few extra backlinks for a new website is to submit your website to Search Engines. There are hundreds of good search engines out there that let you submit your website for free. Best way to find these is to search Google : Free search engine, best search engine...use your imagination. This is a really good way to get some free permanent backlinks to your website.
